where do you shoot the first
where do you shoot the first photo, I want to go there, great scenery!!
You have done a good job, I have been you reader for long.
I live in Shenzhen, charming place.
Thanks Anon...
I shot the first photo facing North West from a helicopter hovering a few hundred feet above the exact location where Castle Peak (Mai Po) Road splits off from the San Tin Highway (Route 9), just before you get to San Tin Park.
If you can pick out the blue building and yellow containers in the photo, just below that is Tam Kon Chau Road. I'm not sure if you can access this in China, but here is the exact location on Google Maps:-

A more general view:-

On the right hand side of the image you can see the new Lok Ma Chau border crossing building on the Hong Kong side.
Here is an even more wider location:-

Hope this helps!
Alex
Great shots!
Thanks for sharing these rare views.
beautiful
wow, I'd pay to go on holiday to something that looked that good! Why on earth isn't this aspect of HK marketed better!?
No idea.
I think the HKTB do actually promote Hong Kong Wetland Park and Mai Po marshes, but not that much...
